Claims process - Motor

Break in/ stolen car

  1. Call the police (911), they will request you to call ForenSys (119) to make a report about the incident.
     
  2. Leave everything as found as ForenSys will take statements and pictures of the scene. In return you will receive a paper slip as a proof of the report.
     
  3. Bring this report to the police station and make the police report.
     
  4. Bring the ForenSys report, together with the police report, your keurings kaart, drivers license and insurance policy to our office to file the claim. Our claims representative will assist you with this!
     
  5. At this point you may also be required to pay the deductible as specified on your policy.
     
  6. A loss adjuster will visit you to inspect your vehicle and prepare a report to our office recommending an amount to be paid, either to the customer or to a third party.
     
  7. New India Assurance will settle the claim based on the loss adjusters report and recommendations. If there is any dispute it is advised for the customer to provide our office with a contra expertise to prove the case.

 

Car accident

  1. New India Assurance wants all our customers to have their safety and health first. We therefore ask you to please take care of yourself first in case of an accident, in order to help other injured parties at the scene.
    The cars involved in the accident needs to be left as is for ForenSys to document.
     
  2. Then please call:
    - Ambulance (911) to take further care of the injured persons
    - Police (911)
    - ForenSys (199) to document the accident
     
  3. ForenSys will inspect the site and obtain statements of all parties involved. They will also check your driving license, keuringskaart, road tax card and your most recent insurance policy. They will also take pictures of the scene.
    You will also be provided with a paper slip confirming their inspection and report.
     
  4. If the vehicle is not in a driving condition please have the vehicle towed to a safe place like your home and keep the towing receipt. If you are Comprehensively insured with us, please call our FREE Roadside Towing service on 520-7358.
     
  5. Bring the ForenSys report, together with your keurings kaart, divers licens, insurance policy and if there was a police report made, to our office to file the claim. Our claims representative will assist you!
  6. If there are any third party injuries / deaths or damage to any third party property please make sure that the Police is informed and provide our office with details of the injuries sustained. In case any treatment is taken please provide us with the medical records and receipts.
     
  7. When registering the claim, you may also be required to pay the deductible as specified on your policy.
